Terms of Use

Last updated: April 1, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://www.project-athlete.com and related pages operated by Project Athlete (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

1. The Site and our content

The Site provides general information about Project Athlete, training and performance philosophy, the Cedars Treeathlon, resources, and related initiatives. Features may include articles, media, forms (such as partnership inquiries), and links to third-party platforms (including social channels and messaging services).

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without liability to you.

2. Not medical, coaching, or professional advice

Content on the Site—including training discussion, nutrition mentions, recovery, load management, or event preparation—is for general informational and inspirational purposes only. It is not medical advice, physical therapy advice, dietetic advice, or a substitute for professional evaluation. Always consult a qualified physician or other licensed professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or are pregnant.

Nothing on the Site creates a coach–client, doctor–patient, or other professional relationship unless we separately enter into a written agreement that expressly says so.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Your conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in violation of law or in a manner that infringes others’ rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users’ data, or the infrastructure hosting the Site;
  • Introduce malware, overload or disrupt the Site, or scrape or harvest data in bulk without our written permission;
  • Misrepresent your identity, submit false information in forms, or impersonate any person or entity;
  • Use the Site to send spam, harassment, or unlawful, defamatory, or obscene content.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Site or others.

5. Submissions (including partnership inquiries)

When you submit information through the Site (including partnership applications or contact requests), you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it.

Submissions do not create a partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or any binding commercial relationship. We may review, accept, or decline opportunities at our sole discretion, and we are under no obligation to respond or to maintain confidentiality beyond what we describe in our Privacy Policy—though we treat business inquiries responsibly and use your data as stated there.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process submissions solely to operate the Site, evaluate your inquiry, and communicate with you about it.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the Site’s design, text, graphics, logos, images, video, software, and other materials are owned by Project Athlete or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print a reasonable number of copies of pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or exploit our content without prior written permission, except as allowed by applicable law (for example fair use).

7. Third-party services and links

The Site may reference or link to third-party websites, social platforms, messaging apps, payment processors, or other services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content is complete or current. Training and event participation carry inherent risks; you assume those risks when you choose to engage in physical activity.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PROJECT ATHLETE, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR ACCESS TO THE SPECIFIC PAID SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM—WHICH, FOR CLARITY, TYPICALLY MEANS USD $100 FOR FREE-TO-USE SITE FEATURES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Project Athlete and its operators, affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another jurisdiction’s laws.

Except where prohibited by law, you agree that the courts located in Beirut, Lebanon shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If you are a consumer in a country that mandates a different mandatory venue or law, that mandatory rule applies to you instead where it cannot be waived.

12. General

12.1 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede prior understandings on that subject.

12.2 Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

12.3 No waiver

Failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
